Employee training is near the top of every storm water inspector's list. To assist the metals industry with employee training, MCSMGI independently funded and produced: Stormwater Management. The video demonstates our group's proactive approach to compliance while providing an effective tool for employee training.

      

    The video covers standard procedures and situations where workers' duties can impact storm water. The Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan or SWPPP, Best Management Practices or BMPs, and specific cases where contamination may occur - as well as ways to mitigate these contamination sources - are detailed in the program.

    The video also reviews the parameters and importance of sampling storm water. Employees will receive general knowledge about sampling procedures and how this impacts the storm water program. In all, this training video is a new, original and comprehensive tool for any-sized facility.
